paragraph 1: How do you think Hitchcock has grown as a filmmaker from his first film "Rear Window" to his last, "Vertigo?" Explain using evidence from the two films.
paragraph 2: How does cutting and editing allow Hitchcock to show "things that are not really there?" (i.e. think about the scene where Scottie watches Madeleine walk by in the restaurant or the beginning falling off the roof scene)
