- record your Flipgrid Week 2 video after exploring the slides about child laborers and include the following: 
  • How do the children's daily schedules compare with the routines of your own day?
  • What keeps you focused on your daily tasks? Is it a commitment to personal success, to family to friends, or to a goal of learning new skills?
- Newsela article due next Tues. 10/15: Judge rules in Harvard's favor in federal affirmative action case (make sure you read the directions and take the quiz at the right lexile level to get credit for the assignment)
